This weekend was full of cosplay goodness. I'll post more about that later. This post in particular exists only in part because a good friend of mine thought I might enjoy pulling my camera out for it. The event was Geek Pride, and it was thrown by Club Cosplay and it was pretty amazing. When I was invited, I brought over my portrait-taking setup then realized that they already had a photo booth. I didn't want to impose and horn in on their deal, so I ended up taking some candids and ambient light portraits throughout the night. It wasn't so much as a "working event" but rather a "see what I can do for fun" thing.
