Gallery: Anime California. Anaheim, California

The last weekend of my August was chalk full of cosplay. It's not something I've looked too much into until recently, but lately it seems that my camera is pulling me wherever cosplayers happen to be. This particular gallery consists of when I had the urge to head down to Anaheim, and meet up with some friends over at Anime California the Saturday between Star Girls Burlesque and Geek Pride. This wasn't so much as a mission to take as many photos of costumed attendees but rather to enjoy and pick and choose who I get to work with. My associate Calvin and I probably spent roughly 4 hours there, with a large lull in the middle of it, while my friend Flip arrived a day before and spent the night nearby to get a head start on the festivities. It almost turned into a fiasco like San Diego Comic-Con, but luckily it was nowhere near the shitshow that was.

The best part about the weekend was when we went to Slater's 50/50 and almost died from food coma.
