First off, I'd also like to thank Timeout.com for accepting some of my shots for their web gallery!
Halloween season is probably one of the busiest and more creative times of the year for a photographer.
Everyone loves getting dressed up as their favorite characters from various sources and have random adventures. Add onto it a comic convention to the mix and you have this weekend's Comikaze.
With the West and South Halls teeming with cosplayers and photographers, I strived to be different to stand out just a bit where I basically brought an entire digital-tech station with me as I approached models and asked if they'd like to work with me. It gave a refreshing view being able to present the photos on a screen larger than the back of an DSLR.
Another great kicker was being able to do edits on the spot! Most of the people loved that aspect as it gave them better ideas on what to do for following shots.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to let me test out my new contraption. It gave me a lot of insight on what to do to prepare for my next outing with it!
ON TO THE PHOTOS!
